As a Client Project Manager in Norcross, GA, you will join a diverse, passionate team dedicated to powering the world’s payments ecosystem. Job Purpose The Client Project Manager is accountable for managing the delivery of projects in compliance with ACI policies and customer contractual commitments. They collaborate with a team to deliver projects of medium complexity (typically 6 to 12 months) with limited supervision. They manage multiple projects in parallel, aligned to ACI’s project methodology, and facilitate communication with customers and internal departments to keep project status clear while managing risks, issues and key performance indicators (KPIs). The Client Project Manager oversees a project from inception through execution and final delivery, maintaining and sharing schedules while monitoring the project budget, guiding projects to successful completion within scope, budget and quality standards within defined timeframes. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Understand all contractual commitments and ensure they are tracked with the customer. Monitor project scope and baseline to ensure delivery is compliant and that ACI standard change control tracking is applied. Monitor the project budget, track any changes to the scope or schedule that may impact the budget, and provide accurate resource forecasts based on project estimated completion. Develop project plans, schedules, agreements and proposals and ensure projects are completed within budget and defined timeframes. Identify and address barriers that may prevent the team from meeting established goals. Manage aspects of projects including research, analysis, documentation, design/development, testing, negotiation, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, deliverables, project closing and post‑rollout review/audit. Ensure all project deliverables are met and delivered to the customer in accordance with contractual commitments. Establish a project governance model to ensure all relevant stakeholders are aware of project status and assist with resolving escalations. Manage project issues and risks (technical and non‑technical) through identification, evaluation, tracking, communication and mediation. Maintain a RAID log for projects. Ensure the project team is equipped with the right procedures to deliver the quality solutions needed to meet project commitments. Update project management data on reporting and management systems, such as Jira and Salesforce. Review and approve timecards submitted by project team members. Ensure that weekly project updates are maintained and shared with both internal and external stakeholders. Manage the relationship with customers and all stakeholders. Conduct post‑project evaluation to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the customer to determine the appropriate project methodology. Use Waterfall (linear‑sequential life cycle). Use Agile SCRUM or Kanban. Use a hybrid model combining aspects of the above. When SCRUM is used, the Client Project Manager will fill the Scrum Master role while also handling other responsibilities beyond the standard Scrum Master definition. Ensure the customer is aligned with the methodology to be used for the project and that budget, scope and planning tracking are aligned prior to the project proceeding via a method adoption workshop. Perform other duties as assigned. Understand and adhere to all corporate policies, including but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of client project management experience, 2+ of those in the payments/financial industry. Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies) Specific project management training preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills. Stakeholder management and relationship building. Problem‑solving abilities. Standard work environment. Occasional domestic travel may be required.
