Apply today and be more with Baker.Summary We're expanding and have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our general contracting wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and water reclamation facilities group to grow our Virginia region. This role is accountable to the Operations Manager for the financial results and client satisfaction on multiple projects. Defines and is responsible for achievement of project SQP goals, contributes to the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives, develops co-workers and participates in the business planning and performance of BURG.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Manager will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job.Contributes to the Pre-Construction ProcessesOversees Job Transition and Start-Up ProcessAccountable for Cost and ScheduleAccountable for Project Cash FlowDirects and/or Oversees StaffFosters Client RelationshipsOversees Generation and Submittal of Technical RecordsParticipates in the Development of BURG and Project Plans, and Achieves ResultsAccountable for Project and BURG Safety and for Risk Management ProcessesEnsures a Safe Work EnvironmentParticipates in Training/CertificationsRequirements Bachelor's Degree in CM or Engineering and 12 years of construction experience, or 16 years of construction related experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction. 8 years of experience as a Project Manager. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. Proven ability to coach, train and mentor others. Highly collaborative work style with excellent communication skills, tact, and diplomacy are essential.
