Duties and Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to assist clients in their development. Collect data meticulously during client sessions to ensure accurate tracking of behavioral progress and hurdles. Conduct one-on-one therapeutic interventions with children to promote skill acquisition based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Maintain a consistent communication channel with supervisors and parents to update them on client progress and receive feedback on intervention strategies. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client developments, share insights, and brainstorm on improving therapeutic approaches. Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards as set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and remain updated with the latest ABA research and techniques. Ensure the physical safety of clients at all times during sessions. Prepare educational materials and resources as needed to support client goals and interventions. Assist in the creation of supportive environments that foster client growth and learning. Requirements Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field is preferred. Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Proven experience working with children with autism, special needs, or in early childhood settings. Strong understanding and clinical application of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Demonstrable passion for child development and a commitment to helping children achieve their fullest potential. Excellent observational and analytical skills to effectively assess client progress and adapt interventions as needed. Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues, children, and families. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. Commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards of practice in accordance with BACB guidelines.
