About PSM Pet Specialists of Monterey (PSM), a BluePearl Hospital, is an AAHA certified, state-of-the-art, 24‑hour emergency and referral hospital located in Monterey, on the beautiful central coast of California. Position Overview We are seeking a full‑time residency trained or board certified (DACVECC) critical care specialist to join our team of thirteen doctors, including seven specialists. Our facility features an in‑house laboratory, digital radiographs, CT scan, ultrasound, color‑flow doppler, telemetry unit, endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and electrosurgical equipment. The environment is fast‑paced, challenging, and collaborative. With board‑certified specialists in critical care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, and oncology, the ideal candidate will be hard‑working, motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work harmoniously and effectively with other doctors, staff, and referring veterinarians. As a teaching hospital, all doctors play a role in training new graduates through our rotating small animal internship program.
