Job Description Additional Information About the Role Newly Approved Increased Compensation Package Now Available! BJC HealthCare is now hiring a Full-time CT Technologist at our Alton Memorial Hospital location.

Position Details:

• Sign-On Bonus 5000 (for eligible applicants)
• Full-time Overnight 12 hour shifts 3 days per week Monday & Tuesday 6:00pm to 7:00am Friday 12:00pm to 12:00am
• Willing to cross train in CT!!

Overview Since 1937 Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton Illinois and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services including surgery services medical imaging interventional and diagnostic heart services cancer care rehabilitation 24-hour emergency care ambulance services and more.

Alton Memorial has Two 64-slice CT scanners one with fluoroscopy capabilities. This leading technology allows for faster scan times and less radiation dose to the patient while maintaining image quality. The CT Department prides itself on being able to offer quality care Close to Home.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Interventional Mammography Bone Density Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment and quality control.

Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently in on-call situations portable exams and other site as required by work area.

Minimum Requirements Education Associate or Trade School Equi Experience No Experience Supervisor Experience No Experience Licenses & Certifications IEMA - Illinois only excl MRIRTCTMRMBDCIVIRCISRCES

Preferred Requirements Experience 2 years Licenses & Certifications Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Intravenous Therapy
