[Required]Reliable transportation. [Required]Must be able to read and write in English. [Required]Demonstrates basic computer skills. [Required]Knowledge of regulatory requirements [Preferred].Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick. [Required]Ability to communicate effectively in English. [Required]Ability to follow directions and deal effectively with job demands. [Required]Successful completion of a Home Health Aide competency evaluation. [Required]Education:High School Grad or Equiv [Required]Technical/Vocational School [Required]Field of Study:Completion of a minimum of seventy-five (75) hours of documented home health aide training with at least sixteen (16) hours of supervised practical training by a qualified RN covering essential care skills and knowledge areas.Work Experience:1+ employment experience as a nurse's aide in an institutional setting.
