We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.Role ScopeLead facilities software automation: the systems that let software observe, decide, and act on physical plant.Own the architecture from telemetry through decision to actuation, with safety and authorization designed in.Set the engineering standards for a team shipping against live infrastructure.Carry the hardest problems: closed-loop control paths, simulation, and rollout strategy across the fleet.What We're Looking ForThe below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.You've led teams building software that controls or automates physical systems.You've designed act-on-plant paths with interlocks, authorization, and audit.You've taken automation from one site to many with a real rollout model.Your architecture decisions balance speed with the blast radius of being wrong.You still write the critical code.Bonus: Controls background (PLC, BMS).
