Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in Creo design, particularly in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and a deep understanding of the end-to-end product development cycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6-8 years of experience in mechanical design, with a willingness to accept 4-8 years of experience.
Proficiency in Creo Tool Knowledge (Surfacing, GD&T, DFX, DFA, Automotive design experience).
Hands-on experience with plastic, sheet metal, and casting components.
Proven experience in designing sheet metals and plastic parts.
Prior work experience in the automotive industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Ability to work independently on design conceptual jobs.
Knowledge of phases of the design process and development process for automotive components, including drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, prototyping, ECN, PPAP, and documenting results.
Experience with automotive product design, sheet metal press tools, fixture and gauge design, reverse engineering, Stack-Up, VAVE.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Generate concept models using Creo-Part, Assembly, and Surfacing.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams.
Participate in the full product lifecycle from concept to production.
