Research Associate

Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for a Research Associate in San Diego. This position will support other Research Associates and Scientists on the team for daily lab support duties. Position: Research Associate Rate: $24 - 27/hr DOE Location: San DiegoShift: Mon. - Fri. 9-5pmResponsibilitiesConduct tissue culture experiments using iPSCs and neuronal models, including cell line maintenance, media formulation, and differentiation protocols.Perform molecular biology techniques specific to iPSCs and neuronal models, such as iPSC reprogramming, neural differentiation, gene expression analysis, PCR, Western blotting, and DNA sequencing.Assist in the design and optimization of experiments related to iPSCs and neuronal models, including protocol development, troubleshooting, and data analysis.Assist with routine lab management duties including medium preparation, equipment maintenance, and inventory trackingCollaborate with senior scientists to ensure project milestones are met on scheduleQualifications: Associates Degree in sciences (or related field) or HS/GED.
