Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in a healthcare setting. This role involves evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist will also oversee discipline-specific therapy services, educate patients and families, and contribute to designing functional treatment programs aimed at successful return to community activities. The position emphasizes patient and employee safety, professional development, and adherence to organizational standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; Valid state licensure in good standing; meets all continuing education requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience providing outpatient therapy services, knowledge of safety protocols related to patient handling and infectious disease control.
• Additional Information: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations and develops treatment plans with clinical reasoning focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay. Maintains accurate and timely medical record documentation in accordance with applicable guidelines and organizational policies. Participates in student programs, fostering a positive learning environment. Must adhere to state practice acts and regulatory agency standards. Demonstrates commitment to organizational performance improvement initiatives and upholds professional standards of conduct.
