About Forus Forus is building an AI‑powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to accelerate research and bring new science to patients. Our platform automates the complexity between a doctor prescribing a medicine and a patient starting treatment—covering insurance, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation. About the Role Software Engineer, Developer Productivity . You will own the systems that determine how fast our entire engineering team ships. You will oversee CI/CD, operational workflows, build systems, development environments, and the infrastructure that lets us build with AI coding agents. Responsibilities Own our CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and development environments to speed the path from commit to production. Build the infrastructure that lets coding agents operate safely, including sandboxed execution, CI validation for agent‑generated changes, and systems that provide accurate code context. Design and ship production tooling that automates engineering toil: refactors, migrations, dependency upgrades, test generation, and PR triage. Drive company‑wide adoption of AI‑assisted development, defining golden paths, templates, and standards for how Forus builds. Build evaluation and guardrail systems that enable trust and measurement of agent outputs. Define and use metrics that show progress: CI health, time‑to‑first‑PR, deploy frequency, agent‑merge success. Partner with engineers across teams to surface friction and turn recurring pain into scalable systems. Qualifications Track record of building developer tooling, internal platforms, or CI/CD and environment infrastructure used by other engineers. Strong systems and infrastructure instincts; proficient in Python, Bash/Unix, and writing production code that lives in the terminal. Deep experience with modern agentic development (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) and a desire to productize that leverage; prior AI system building is not required, curiosity and shipping experience matter. Evidence of driving adoption and changing how a team works, not just delivering a tool. Ability to move from ambiguous problems to clear, structured, shipped solutions with minimal guidance. Proven speed, shortcuts, and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve goals. High net promoter score with former teammates.
