We are seeking an experienced medical malpractice attorney to join our team in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Responsibilities Manage and oversee a comprehensive caseload of medical malpractice claims from the initial assessment to the final resolution. Consult with experts in the field to thoroughly assess the standard of care and determine whether a breach has occurred. Identify, research, and analyze complex legal issues and conflicting legal opinions. Regularly communicate with clients, insurance company contacts, and opposing counsel in a way that facilitates case progression and addresses concerns. Efficiently prioritize a range of assignments and competing deadlines. Take and defend depositions, represent clients in arbitration proceedings, and argue motions to secure favorable rulings. Attend in-person and virtual court appearances. Collaborate with fellow attorneys, staff members, and partners on legal projects to foster professional development. Requirements 6+ years of medical malpractice defense experience. Experience handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other complex assignments. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. The ability to manage a large caseload and the day-to-day tasks involved within the cases. A strong desire to learn and grow in their legal profession. Experience billing for your time.
