Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a weekend-focused schedule at a teaching hospital. Details Radiology department at a 298-bed teaching hospital Two 16-hour shifts per week, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM Approximately 9 patients per shift Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment Always works alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech, never solo Department covered by on-call staff after midnight Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed Possible on-call requirements License required if applicable Requirements Minimum 2 years current MRI experience required ARRT (MR) certification required Current BLS certification (AHA) required Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred Must be willing to work weekends and evenings Must be willing to take call as needed Must have own vehicle Additional Information Located at a facility recognized for patient safety excellence with multiple national awards Must work two required holiday blocks: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through the weekend after Christmas, and New Year's Eve through the weekend after New Year's Day Time off requests limited to a maximum of 5 days and must be finalized before submission 8 hours of non-billable orientation required Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
