Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Special Education Teaching Certification
• Endorsement in mild intervention or intense intervention
• Prior experience working with high school students with unique learning needs is highly valued
• Strong commitment to advocacy and inclusive education
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
• Provide targeted instruction in an applied skills classroom to encourage academic, social, and functional growth
• Work closely with classroom aides, related service providers, and families to support student success
• Manage and stay organized with documentation, progress monitoring, and required assessments
• Foster a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment
