Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend required.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing a diverse patient population across all age ranges. This role involves providing high-quality patient care and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individual patient needs.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and conditions, responding appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room experience; 2 years preferred.
• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact State.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications are required.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:4 in a fast-paced ED environment.
