This role supports a maturing finance function aligned with public company standards and offers exposure to SEC reporting, SOX controls, and ERP initiatives.

What You’ll Do

This role plays a critical part in monthly close, reporting, and compliance efforts, partnering closely with Finance, FP&A, and Operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting a timely month‐end close
• Reviewing trial balances and intercompany activity
• Delivering reporting schedules and supporting quarterly SEC reporting
• Executing SOX and internal control activities and supporting enhancements
• Partnering with FP&A and Operations to research variances and resolve issues
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Participating in ERP implementation and system integrations
• Driving process improvements and workflow efficiencies
• Providing ad hoc analysis and supporting cross‐functional initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile

The client is targeting candidates who bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or progress toward CPA
• 6+ years of accounting experience with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
• Hands‐on month‐end close experience
• Experience with large ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred)
• Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills
• Ability to work effectively cross‐functionally
• U.S. Citizenship (ITAR) and ability to obtain a security clearance

Nice to Have

• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional)
• SOX, internal controls, or SEC reporting exposure
• Government contracting experience (FAR, CAS)
• ERP implementation or migration experience
