Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operators / Warehouse Associates to join our team. This position is responsible for moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily warehouse operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and committed to following safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently

• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments

• Move raw materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the warehouse

• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment

• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities

• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track materials

• Inspect products and shipments for quality and accuracy

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Must-Have Qualifications

• Ability to work any shift, including overtime when needed

• Previous warehouse experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the shift

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Reliable transportation and good attendance record

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or order picker)

• Forklift certification

• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems

• Shipping and receiving experience

• Inventory control or cycle counting experience

• Manufacturing, distribution, or logistics experience

• Basic computer skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DECATUR, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
