Intermittent Visits (RN)

Intermittent Visits (RN) Treat infants, children, and/or adolescents according to the active plan of care as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel. Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies. Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses and coordination of care. Educate patients and families regarding disease process, self‑care techniques, and prevention strategies. Provide pediatric education. Conduct INR checks. Administer wound care and wound vac placement. Provide disease‑process education. Practice safe delivery of physician‑ordered care in a home environment. Perform patient assessments. Provide feeding tube management and education. Administer and manage medication. Provide central line management, lab draws, and education. Perform accurate and concise documentation. Qualifications PICC or central line experience highly preferred. Active Arizona (or compact state) registered nurse license in good standing. CPR certification for healthcare providers.
