Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivated and reliable employee. As a Pro Smoker TIG Welder you’ll be responsible for supporting the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
- Position, align, fasten and install piping, fixtures or electrical components to form assemblies and subassemblies
- Run and install wires/wiring between electrical components and test same
- Assemble and install plumbing valves and fittings for pipes, fixtures and equipment and test same
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or blueprints
- TIG weld on stainless steel parts
- Record product and order information on specified forms and records
- Use forklift to move materials
- Comply with quality and safety programs
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Previous experience in production environment
- Previous forklift experience
- Basic math skills required
- Previous experience with light electrical assembly and plumbing
- Good finger and hand dexterity
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, standing and climbing
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Ability to work necessary overtime
