Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: Permanent Shift: Flexible, every other weekend and holiday rotation Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: 2 years in a large busy hospital emergency room with pediatrics and psychiatric experience License: Illinois license required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: TNCC, ENPC, ECRN preferred Description: Emergency Department is a trauma level 2 unit with 44 beds. It sees between 200 to 280 visits per day. Patient population includes newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a large busy emergency room setting. Experience with pediatric and psychiatric patients is required. Candidates must hold an Illinois nursing license and relevant certifications. Preferred certifications include TNCC, ENPC, and ECRN. The role requires availability for every other weekend and participation in holiday rotation. Permanent residence must be outside of a 50-mile radius.
