AI-Native Quality Engineer

IDR is seeking a strong candidate for an AI-Native Quality Engineer to join one of our top clients remotely. This role is part of a cutting-edge AI-driven delivery team within a tech industry that focuses on innovative software solutions. Position Overview for the AI-Native Quality Engineer:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated UI and end-to-end test suites using Playwright / TypeScript across React and Angular front-end applications.
• Write automated API tests against C# / ASP.NET Core REST endpoints, ensuring request and response validation.
• Build and maintain integration tests to verify service-to-service interactions and data flows across the application stack.
• Contribute to test data strategies, designing repeatable, isolated data setup and teardown for reliable parallel test execution.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate test scaffolding and generation, while critically evaluating AI-produced tests for coverage and assertion quality.

Requirements for the AI-Native Quality Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience writing code-based test suites.
• Proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript for UI and end-to-end automation.
• Experience writing automated API tests in code (TypeScript clients, C# / xUnit / NUnit, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with C# / .NET applications and understanding of SQL Server or Azure SQL for data validation in automated tests.
