Now Hiring: Management Analyst II Fleet Inventory & Operations Fleet Management, Inventory Control & Administrative Operations

Openwork is hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Management Analyst II to support fleet inventory and operations for the City of Fort Worth in Fort Worth, TX 76115.

This position focuses on managing equipment inventory, conducting physical audits, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily fleet operations involving city vehicles and related equipment.

Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management, asset tracking, purchasing, data entry, or operational support. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.

• Location : Fort Worth, TX 76115

• Pay : $26/hr

• Schedule : MonFri, 8:00 AM5:00 PM

• Employment : Full-Time | Temporary Assignment

• Assignment Length : Approximately 6 months

• Experience : Minimum 2 years required

• Organization : City of Fort Worth

• Work Setting : Administrative and on-site fleet inspections

• Conduct physical inventory audits of city vehicles and equipment

• Track fleet assets, equipment, and inventory records

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain documentation

• Inspect vehicles and equipment to verify inventory and condition

• Identify and report inventory discrepancies

• Assist with purchasing, procurement, and contracting activities

• Maintain organized inventory and operational records

• Support daily fleet management and administrative operations

• Review inventory data and assist with basic analysis

• Communicate findings, updates, and concerns to management

• Help identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency

• Minimum 2 years of relevant inventory, asset management, purchasing, or operational support experience required

• Experience with inventory management, equipment tracking, or asset control

• Experience with data entry, recordkeeping, and basic data analysis

• Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, or contracting processes

• Experience supporting administrative, logistics, or operational activities

• Strong computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Comfortable conducting in-person vehicle and equipment inspections

• Fleet management or vehicle inventory experience preferred

• Government or public-sector experience is a plus

• Administrative and fleet operations environment

• Regular computer work, data entry, and documentation

• In-person inspections of vehicles and equipment

• Walking and standing during physical inventory audits

• Ability to travel between assigned inspection areas as needed

• Strong focus on accuracy, organization, and attention to detail

• Ability to follow departmental procedures and workplace safety guidelines

• $26 per hour

• Consistent MondayFriday daytime schedule

• Full-time, six-month temporary assignment
