About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 12-hour shifts (4x12s), 7:00–19:30 or 19:00–7:30 | Every other weekend | Some holidays | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Operate and manage the NextStage CVVH machine for continuous renal replacement therapy
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including telemetry and advanced arrhythmia recognition
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity critical care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in CVICU or equivalent specialty
• CVICU experience required
• Experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification; up to three attempts permitted under defined conditions)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care area
