QA Automation EngineerGenesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience testing web-based applications and a strong background in building comprehensive automated frameworks from scratch. This role involves using modern testing frameworks like Playwright and Cypress, working with technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, JSON, and REST, and collaborating within an agile enterprise environment.Responsibilities:Build comprehensive automated testing frameworks from scratchTest web applications that are accessed on multiple platforms, including mobile and desktopsAnalyze automated test results and metrics to perform root cause failure analysisWrite and execute detailed test cases that exercise all aspects of the system under testWork within an enterprise environment using agile software development methodologiesRequirements:Experience testing web-based applications with technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, responsive design, JSON, and RESTStrong background in QA methodologies and best practicesDeep experience with modern automated testing frameworks and platforms such as Playwright and CypressDeep experience developing in at least one front-end language (e.g. JavaScript or TypeScript) and at least one statically typed language (e.g. Java or.NET)Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools (e.g. Github Actions)Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, responsive design, etc.)Pay range: $52.43 - $62.43 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
