Certified Medical Assistant Position

We have an available medical assistant position for a local clinic in the Baton Rouge area. This position REQUIRES A MEDICAL ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO APPLYING! Our client is looking for someone ready to work hard and join a fast-paced and dedicated team with a long-term need. Pay for this full-time position will be in the range of $16-$18 depending on previous medical assistant experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist physicians in a clinic setting
Take patient histories and vitals
Triage calls
Manage surgery schedule for the physician
Interact with patients and coworkers with a friendly and professional attitude

Requirements:

ONLY CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANTS NEED APPLY!!
1+ year of Medical Assisting experience NECESSARY
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
