We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! As a Teacher, you will lead a class of students through a successful school year, creating and implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!

Responsibilities: 

• Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards
• Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills
• Prepare any necessary learning materials
• Assign homework
• Take attendance
• Grade assignments and provide feedback
• Document students’ learning progress
• Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
• Report and document behavioral incidents

Qualifications : 

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience teaching at the k-5th level is preferred
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Excellent math skills
• Must be able to write an excellent one-page essay, based on a choice of fifty topics.
• Must pass a math exam of Integrated Math up to Algebra One.
• Must be able to culturally and socially relate to students who are a part of an underserved community.
