Intune Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Job Summary

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands‑on technical support in a Windows‑based environment. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, and network‑related issues while delivering excellent customer service to end users. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows devices, Microsoft technologies, and common enterprise applications in a fast‑paced corporate environment. Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for end users in a Windows 10/11 environment. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, docking stations, monitors, and mobile devices. Support Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and OneDrive. Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Active Directory. Provide password reset assistance and support multi‑factor authentication (MFA) issues. Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues involving VPNs, Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, and network printers. Perform workstation imaging, deployments, upgrades, and equipment refresh projects. Manage ticket queues and document incidents, requests, and resolutions within the ticketing system. Support hardware inventory management and asset tracking processes. Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and other IT teams to resolve escalated technical issues. Assist with new hire onboarding, workstation setup, and employee offboarding activities. Maintain adherence to IT security policies, standards, and procedures. Provide both remote and in‑person support while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs). Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Desktop Support, Help Desk, or IT Support roles. Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office applications. Experience with Active Directory user administration. Familiarity with imaging and deployment tools. Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN connectivity, and wireless networking. Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple support requests simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications. Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, or Autopilot. Experience supporting conference room technology and AV equipment. Exposure to Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. Technical Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
