  • Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using a range of evidence-based approaches tailored to the unique needs of each client.

  • Provide timely crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, which may involve activating crisis protocols and coordinating with emergency services if necessary.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and coordinated care for patients.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes using our electronic health records (EHR) system, in compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard client confidentiality.

In your role as an LMFT at Allied Comfort Counseling LLC, you will work with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. This includes clients facing emotional distress, relationship issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, and more. Our emphasis is on providing culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges the individual experiences of each client.

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required for this role.

  • An active LMFT license in California is essential for your practice, reflecting your commitment to the field and adherence to state regulations.

  • Proficiency in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy, which are critical modalities for our client base.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
