Position Overview The Senior Tax Advisor will lead all aspects of our tax practice - from compliance and planning to client advisory and staff development. This individual will work hand-in-hand with our financial advisors to deliver seamlessly integrated tax and wealth management solutions. The right candidate is not only technically sharp but is genuinely people-focused, bringing warmth and professionalism to every client interaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review business tax returns, including S Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, and individual returns Identify legitimate tax-saving opportunities and ensure clients maximize available deductions, credits, and planning strategies Develop proactive tax strategies to reduce current and future tax liabilities Advise clients on entity structure optimization, retirement plans, accountable plans, depreciation strategies, cost segregation opportunities, and other advanced tax planning techniques Collaborate with financial advisors and wealth management professionals to provide comprehensive planning solutions Conduct tax projections and strategic planning meetings with clients throughout the year Stay current on changes in federal and state tax laws and communicate planning opportunities to clients Assist business owners with succession planning, business sales, charitable planning, and other complex tax matters Qualifications Active CPA or EA designation required Minimum 5+ years of experience preparing and reviewing business tax returns Strong knowledge of S Corporation, Partnership, and LLC taxation Experience providing proactive tax planning, not just tax preparation Ability to identify planning opportunities that create measurable tax savings for clientsStrong understanding of depreciation, Section 179, bonus depreciation, retirement plan strategies, business deductions, and tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies Experience working directly with business owners and high-income taxpayers Excellent communication and client relationship skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a financial advisory, wealth management, or financial planning firm Familiarity with estate and trust taxation, charitable giving strategies, and business succession planning Experience representing clients in IRS audits or appeals Background working with high-net-worth individuals, retirees, and small business owners Why Join Our Team?
