As a Mechanic specializing in machines, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will utilize standard hand tools and heavy machinery equipment to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct maintenance work while maintaining clear communication with customers and detailed service records.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical problems in machines
- Perform repair work and parts replacement efficiently
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
- Carry out safety inspections to ensure compliance
- Use standard hand tools and heavy machinery equipment
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and service
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Test equipment to verify proper operation after repairs
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as a machine mechanic
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to machinery
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Manual dexterity for precise mechanical work
- Customer service experience
- Understanding of safety compliance standards
