A Typical Day as a Caregiver Light housekeeping – mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, taking out trash/recycling Assisting with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, mouth, skin, and hair care) Helping with daily living tasks (moving, meal preparation, eating, dressing, shaving) Providing companionship and running errands or transportation for appointments, grocery shopping, or fresh air walks Caregiver Requirements Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile or access to transportation Minimum age 18 years Comfortable with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care duties Ability to lift 10-50 lbs.
