ResponsibilitiesYour Impact:As a Project Attorney, you will play a key role in managing eDiscovery and contract review projects from start to finish. You will:Lead project intake, staffing, workflow planning, technology selection, budgeting, execution, and documentation.Collaborate directly with firm Partners, clients, and vendors to deliver outstanding results.Apply advanced analytics, Gen AI, TAR, and other AI tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and insight.Innovate and contribute ideas to continuously improve our service delivery model.Supervise and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.QualificationsA Juris Doctor and successful bar passage and admission to practice in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction is required.Some practice experience preferred.Significant eDiscovery experience, preferably including using tech tools, e.g. TAR.A successful Project Attorney will possess strong supervisory and team-building skills.Two to six years of experience in project lead or supervisory roles, preferably of both small and large teams.Excellent communication and interactive skills at all levels and a shown ability to work with a wide variety of personality types.Planning and organization skills are important in this role, including the ability to meet deadlines and to lead multiple projects concurrently.Do you have the ability to problem solve and make decisions? A can-do approach in these areas is crucial. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
