The Pool Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests in a fast-paced outdoor pool environment. This role involves mixing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring guest satisfaction, and upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the pool bar.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, including hotel signature drinks.
• Follow all hotel and state liquor laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure proper setup, stocking, and cleanliness of the pool bar area.
• Process payments, operate the POS system, and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines.
• Assist with food service from the poolside menu when required.
• Work collaboratively with barbacks, servers, and pool attendants.

Requirements:
Job Requirements:

• Experience: 1-2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume or resort setting.
• Certifications: Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid food handler's and alcohol service certification (RBS).
• Skills:
  • Strong mixology knowledge and ability to craft a variety of cocktails.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs. for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
