Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients living with mood disorders to evaluate symptom severity, frequency, and history, using evidence-based assessment tools.

  • Work closely with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that respect their unique circumstances, preferences, and recovery goals.

  • Utilize therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide impactful interventions suited to mood disorders.

  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, empowering them with knowledge about treatment options and effective self-care strategies.

  • Continuously monitor and document client progress, adapting therapeutic approaches as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated treatment approach, enhancing the efficacy of care delivery.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in the field to refine treatment methodologies and improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele at our community health clinic, primarily focusing on individuals experiencing mood disorders. Clients may range from adolescents to adults, each presenting unique challenges that require a compassionate, tailored approach. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

  • Strong foundation in evidence-based practices for treating mood disorders, demonstrating a commitment to continued professional growth.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Effective communication abilities to liaise with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive client care.

Preferred Experience\n

  • At least two years of post-licensure experience working specifically with mood disorders is preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering therapeutic outcomes through evidence-based treatment models, particularly CBT and DBT.

  • Understanding of psychopharmacology, facilitating effective partnerships with prescribing psychiatrists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise. In addition, we offer a generous sign-on bonus to qualified candidates.
