Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Parkersburg, WV. This role focuses on providing critical care to patients in the Cardiovascular ICU, working in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Monitor and titrate medications and drips such as Cardizem, Cordarone, and Nitroglycerin
• Handle devices such as ventilators, Impella, and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Perform assessments and interpret complex arrhythmias and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records in EPIC

Requirements of the RN - CVICU

• Valid RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
• Experience with fresh open heart and post-operative cardiac care
• Proficiency in CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, and arterial line procedures
• Experience with mediastinal/chest tubes, temporary pacemakers, and ventilators
• Familiarity with Hypothermia Protocol and titrating complex drips
