Responsibilities Provide incredible service to our customers Keep our shelves and service counter stocked with fresh products Take orders and prepare items for display by cutting, packaging, and labeling products May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory Qualifications Experience with or knowledge of different cuts of meat and poultry; collective customer service experience, internally and/or externally preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting. Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, reaching, including lifting above shoulder height, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 15 – 40 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of greater than 50 pounds occasionally. You may receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors with exposure to cold (33 – 55 degrees) temperatures. Basic tools and equipment used include box cutter, u-cart, utility cart, tall multi-shelf cart, hand/power jack, scale, and meat knives.
