About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as its Executive Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and organizational direction to advance the vision and priorities of the Board of Directors. This role involves overseeing all agency operations, programs, personnel, and financial resources, and ensuring that the company remains a trusted regional partner and effective advocate. Exceptional political acumen and the ability to navigate complex, often competing interests with diplomacy, credibility, and sound judgment are essential for this position. The CEO will be expected to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and a proven ability to bring diverse stakeholders together to address complex regional issues. The role is pivotal in maintaining the company's status as a Joint Powers Authority and in fulfilling its various countywide roles, including those related to transportation, land use, and water pollution prevention. The salary for the position is competitive and will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
