The Role

We are seeking an Experienced Accountant to join our growing company. You will be supported by a team of professionals in other specialized areas that help make your daily duties as an Accountant easier.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Posting all incoming forms of income
• Paying invoices for utilities and vendors
• Creating and charging Invoices for our Maintenance Department
• Processing move out dispositions for tenants
• Processing close out dispositions for owners
• Producing monthly owners statements
• Managing and ensuring accurate tenant ledgers
• Reconciling multiple bank accounts
• Complete utility and triple net reconciliations
• Submitting owner and vendor 1099 forms
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have accounting education and/or 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in the use of Quickbooks and Google Docs
• Able to prioritize under stress to meet deadlines
• High level of attention to detail
• Knowledge of Appfolio a plus
