Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty/mail order pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract assignment based in Ontario, CA. This full-time opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekends off, providing a balanced workweek.

Responsibilities include:
• Accurately filling prescriptions following practitioner instructions
• Conducting clinical drug screenings to prevent adverse interactions
• Counseling patients on medication use and side effects
• Supervising pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff
• Communicating professionally with patients and clinic personnel
• Maintaining accuracy in billing documentation and inventory control
• Supporting efficient medication fulfillment and delivery
• Facilitating new business and ensuring timely service delivery
• Participating in annual pharmacy budget planning and managing operational budgets within guidelines

Qualifications:
• Current and active California Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative history
• Preferably 1+ year of retail or ambulatory pharmacy experience; specialty or mail order pharmacy experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients and clinic staff
• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical skills to ensure safe dispensing of medications
