Industrial Painter Location: Matthews, NC Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday– Friday, 6: 00 AM– 4: 30 PM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Industrial Painter to join the steel department of a growing manufacturing operation in Matthews, NC. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for applying protective, rust-resistant coatings to fabricated steel products while maintaining high-quality standards, following safety procedures, and keeping painting equipment and work areas clean and properly maintained. Essential Job Functions Apply protective coatings to beams, columns, and other steel products in paint booths Operate and maintain paint guns, sprayers, and related equipment Replace paint gun tips, filters, and other components as needed Maintain cleanliness of paint booths, steel lines, shot blaster, and surrounding work areas Monitor paint and coating supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered Assist with loading, strapping steel, and other production activities as needed Ensure painted products meet established quality standards and are properly coated Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and respirators Perform routine equipment maintenance, including cleaning pumps, changing booth wallpaper, and replacing filters Keep conveyor systems and equipment free of paint buildup Qualifications Previous industrial painting or related experience Apprenticeship or on-the-job painting experience Strong attention to detail Strong commitment to workplace safety Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment What We Offer Competitive pay of $20.00–$22.00/hour Full-time, Monday– Friday schedule Consistent daytime hours Opportunity for long-term employment Work Location: In person If you have industrial painting experience and are looking for a stable, full-time opportunity, #J-18808-Ljbffr AtWork Group
