Termite Technician

Identify customers' termite problems and assess termite behaviors and habits Determine appropriate remedial steps Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines and standard practices Apply anti-termite treatments according to schedules, safety procedures, and label instructions Communicate conditions conducive to termite activity Discuss procedures and structural modifications supplemental to treatment Verify job specifications for each work order Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment Complete production forms documenting services provided Interact with customers and explain services provided Prepare job sites for treatment Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb structures, stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles Perform frequent sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license from state of residence At least 1 year of customer service experience Termite control experience is a plus Clean-shaven face for respirator seal safety Ability to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations; covered by the company Basic math skills, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to follow product-label mixing instructions Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to tolerate seasonal weather, damp and dusty locations Ability to work on roofs and high areas, including 20 feet up on a ladder Ability to work in confined spaces and narrow aisles or passageways Ability to wear required PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, or attic experience is a plus Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in termite identification, treatment application, and customer interaction while adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
