This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals committed to excellence.ResponsibilitiesAssist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments in diverse settings such as clinics, hospitals, or urgent care centers.Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.Collect specimens for laboratory testing, perform phlebotomy procedures, and manage specimen labeling and transport.Maintain comprehensive medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure accuracy in medical records and coding (including ICD coding).Support medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, and managing electronic health records (EHR/EMR).Assist with medication administration under physician supervision and monitor patient responses during treatment.Ensure compliance with safety protocols including Basic Life Support (BLS) standards and infection control procedures.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate inpatient or outpatient care in settings like hospital medicine or emergency departments.Manage medical supplies inventory and assist in clinic management tasks to optimize workflow efficiency.SkillsProven experience in medical office preferred.Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation, order entry, and managing electronic health records efficiently.Skilled in phlebotomy techniques and specimen collection for laboratory testing.Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient populations.Ability to perform vital signs assessment accurately and assist with intake procedures seamlessly.Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation and records management.
