Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 16:30)

Hours per week: 36 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract (W-2)

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Cath Lab setting

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, State License (required); CCI RCIS (preferred)

Experience with EPIC EHR platform required

What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures in the Cath and EP labs
• Assist with procedures involving PCI, device changeouts, pacers, ICDs, and upgrades
• Monitor patients with diagnoses such as AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, heart arrhythmias, PAD, and PVD
• Operate and troubleshoot special equipment like Impella, IABP, temp pacers, shockwave, IVUS, and FFR
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation in Epic and other electronic health records
• Participate in call responsibilities as scheduled, including one weeknight per week and every 4th weekend

What You Need

• Valid Ohio State nursing license
• Minimum 3 years of cath lab experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC EHR platform

About the Assignment This assignment is at a reputable facility in Columbus, Ohio, specializing in cardiac and vascular procedures including diagnostic angiography, PCI, and electrophysiology studies. You'll work within a Level 2 Cath Lab and an EP Lab environment, supporting both diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
