Unit Overview The Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper serves as the major pediatric tertiary care center for the 10-county southern New Jersey region, offering comprehensive general and subspecialty pediatric care. With more than 40 full-time faculty, the Department of Pediatrics provides robust clinical services and supports pediatric residency and medical student training programs. Pediatric services include a dedicated Pediatric ED, PICU, step-down unit, pediatric inpatient floor, and a state-of-the-art NICU, alongside five outpatient offices delivering family-centered primary care across Camden, Gloucester, and Burlington counties. Short Description The General Pediatrician provides high-quality primary care, well-child care, and sick visits within Cooper University Health Care’s Division of General Pediatrics. This role supports the mission of Cooper University Health Care by delivering family-centered clinical care, participating in medical student and resident education, and contributing to the academic growth of the Department of Pediatrics. The position ensures exceptional pediatric care to a diverse patient population in our Voorhees and Burlington office. Education Requirements Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics. Experience Required Experience in providing general pediatric primary care, including well-child and sick visits. Prior involvement in academic medicine or teaching is preferred, though not explicitly required. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and serve a diverse patient population License/ Certification Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible in General Pediatrics.
