Affidavit Specialist Pay Rate: $19.00-20.00/hr Schedule: M-F 8:00AM4:30PM. Hours may vary based on business needs Onsite Location: Tempe, AZ

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Affidavit Specialist to process high volumes of customer and citizen requests while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion. This role requires strong computer and data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and follow customer-specific business rules and procedures. This is a hybrid position requiring an in-office presence 23 days per week based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process high volumes of customer and citizen requests according to established business rules, procedures, and statutes.
• Learn and follow customer-specific requirements to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Review work for accuracy and completeness and resolve missing or incorrect information.
• Identify and escalate complex requests, processing issues, or potential SLA concerns.
• Provide professional customer service to citizens and clients.
• Process requests from internal operational and support teams.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and SLA expectations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of completed work and correspondence.
• Sort, scan, and process incoming mail.
• Work onsite 23 days per week to support mail processing and other operational needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of data entry, administrative, or related experience.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and recognize when issues need to be escalated.
• Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Drug screening, background check, and fingerprinting required.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to review data and images on a computer monitor for extended periods, typically during an 8-hour shift.
