Quick Facts Location: Rockville, MD Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 03/08/2027 Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM + Call coverage (weekends included) Hours per Week: Varies based on schedule and call coverage Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: MD State License, DEA, CSR, Board Certification required Experience: Minimum 90 days credentialing timeframe Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $4,680.00 Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide interventional radiology services including joint aspirations, vascular ultrasound, thyroid biopsies, CTA, lumbar punctures, vein mapping, and dialysis graft procedures Perform patient rounds and specialty consults as requested Read vascular and CTA studies remotely (less than 10% of workload) Cover hospital and outpatient procedures during scheduled shifts Respond to STAT procedures and emergent cases within established response times Take weekend and weekday call coverage as scheduled, including night shifts Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective patient care What You Need MD License in Maryland Board Certification in Interventional Radiology DEA and CSR required Experience in vascular and interventional procedures preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Willing to obtain Maryland licensure if not already licensed About the Assignment This full-time locum position with a leading facility in Rockville, MD, involves coverage for interventional radiology services across multiple locations.
