Behavioral Systems Southwest Day Reporting Center is looking for a full time Certified AOD Counselor to provide outpatient drug/alcohol services to the parolee clients this program serves. Evenings may be required, as well as one weekend day.

The appropriate candidate  must possess certification from one of the following:

1. CCAPP

2. CADPT

3. CAADE

Further, the candidate must possess the following:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Collaborate effectively with team members

Responsibilities :

• Conduct one on one drug/alcohol counseling
• Conduct small groups related to drug/alcohol related issues
• Report writing, group/individual session documentation
• Client file maintenance
• ARMS maintenance (will train) of the Department of Corrections database.

The services we provide focus on individual skill building, accomplished through individual and/or group activities, all the while focusing on staff development and professional growth in order to provide effective services to those we serve.
