They also help hire, train, and develop staff while cultivating a culture that reflects the core values of New Balance (integrity, teamwork, and total customer satisfaction). Coach and develop your staff; their success = your successHelp coordinate volunteer opportunities to build our brand within the communities we serveAssist with processing payroll and writing schedules for store associatesStep up to lead the team when Store Manager is unavailableRequirements for SuccessMust be 18 years of age or older.2 years' retail experience (some stores in higher volume areas may require more)B.A. in Business Administration or related field preferredProficiency with POS systems and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of retail operations such as sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation, and loss preventionDemonstrated ability to lead and be part of a teamWillingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidaysAbility to lift 4 lbs. constantly; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; frequently climb and descend stairs (depending on location)South Union Street, Lawrence Retail Only Pay Range: $22.70 - $28.40 - $34.05 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)Regular Associate BenefitsOur products are only as good as the people we hire, so we make sure to hire the best and treat them accordingly.
