Facility has a total of 294 beds. Facility is Joint Commission Accredited. Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services. Facility is located 45 miles east of a major city. It is 2 hours from the coast and 1 hour from major universities. Nearby recreational activities include a lake within a 15-minute drive. Home to a historic stadium. The med-surge unit includes two floors. Patient ratio is 6:1 up to 7:1. Telemetry equipment is available. The electronic health record system is MEDITECH. Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses include surgical cases and various medical treatments. Personality fit should be family-oriented. Required education is at least an Associate's degree in nursing. Scrubs in any color are acceptable. No specific unacceptable attire mentioned. Floating to other units may be required as a second nurse. Call requirements are not applicable.
