Marketing & Communications Internship (PA)

Our growing suite of real estate strategies includes rental housing, industrial and shopping centers in private equity real estate, core-plus and high-yield private real estate debt, and a broad spectrum of listed real estate strategies.

CenterSquare is proudly management-owned and employs approximately 100 professionals across its headquarters in Philadelphia and affiliate offices in Los Angeles, New York, London and Singapore. As of June 2025, CenterSquare manages approximately $14 billion in assets on behalf of some of the world's most well-known institutional and private investors.

The CenterSquare internship is a 10-week program (June-August). As a Marketing & Communications intern, you will work with each functional area within marketing, as well as Investor Relations and Capital Markets to execute marketing initiatives and processes including communication plans, slide library development, social media, email and web marketing support, and campaign launches and success metrics. You will be given an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various areas of marketing and sales support. This position requires someone with an understanding of the marketing funnel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and campaign strategy. The internship will be based in CenterSquare's Conshohocken, PA office and is an in-office position.

Description & Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to determine the best approach to encourage self-service of information for presentations
• Develop a standardized library of slides/slide modules for custom and generic sales presentations
• Assist in the creation of communications, emails, web pages and social media material using existing templates
• Assist in the execution of strategic marketing campaigns, including determining success metrics
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Receive on-the-job training & special projects, as well as daily responsibilities to support the team
• Exposure to senior leaders with extensive knowledge and experience in the industry
• Interns will participate in various social networking activities throughout the summer
• Attend weekly lunch and learn sessions with various professionals in the organization to gain an understanding of how the firm operates

Qualifications

• Strong academic background and GPA, majoring in marketing, communications, finance, or a related study
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• An interest in real estate, the stock market, and/or macroeconomic events
• Ability to organize disparate types of information and take project ownership
• Eagerness to lean in, learn, and ask the right questions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Outgoing personality, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
